Endometriosis and Narrative Medicine

Since 2023 he has coordinated the psychological and narrative components of a research project on endometriosis with the Universities of Siena and Florence and Careggi University Hospital.

The project examines how patients describe chronic pain, diagnostic delay, the burden of treatment, disruptions of identity and their interactions with health care professionals. His contribution includes the psychological framing of the study, guidance on narrative medicine and structured writing methods, and participation in the analysis of anonymised patient narratives.
